R5-1HIA Prismatic High Intensity 18x18" Do Not Enter Sign
These signs are fabricated on .080" aluminum with pre-punched 3/8" mounting holes. Our signs meet MUTCD specifications for highway use and are constructed of durable rust-free aluminum that will last for years.
Effective January 22, 2008, federally mandated minimum sign reflectivity standards require agencies to replace non-compliant signs within seven to ten years. 3M High Intensity Grade Sheeting Series 3870 was discontinued in December 2007. The recommended replacement is 3M High Intensity Grade Prismatic Sheeting.
Regulatory signs shall be retro-reflective or illuminated to show the same shape and similar color by both day and night, unless specifically stated otherwise in the text discussion of a particular sign or group of signs (see section 2A.08 of the Manual of Uniform Traffic Devices).
