SHIPPING POLICIES

Orders are shipped via UPS Ground (those items shipped directly from the manufacturer) or FedEx Ground.
Items ordered together may not be shipped at the same time
A 6 % sales tax will be added on all shipments to in Maryland and Pennsylvania.

Return Policy:
In order to provide you excellent customer service, you must contact our office to obtain a return authorization. Returning
without an authorization may delay your refund. Returns must be made within 30 days from receipt of your order.


Damages:
Please report any damages, manufacture defects or shipping errors within 3 business days from receipt of your order by calling 1-800-806-7997. Products that have been damaged in shipping must be left in the box as received with all the original packing materials. This is necessary because a representative from our shipping company may need to inspect the damaged units.

 

 

Warranty:

One year product and installation warranty from date of service or purchase per manufacture guidelines. Warranties do not include damage occurred from acts of God (wind, water, or snow,) or third party damage such as vandalism or vehicle damage from any moving vehicle, package delivery, snow plow or paving equipment.

 

 

Custom Orders:
Custom made items, or special orders, such as address plaques, personalized mailboxes or any engraved or personalized items are non-refundable or returnable unless they are damaged during shipping or are defective from the manufacturer. If an error occurs in customization due to a manufacturer error or error made by MidAtlantic Mailbox, you have the option of either a refund or it may be remade. For custom orders it is extremely important to double check your entries.



Non-Defective Returns:

Many of our manufactures may or may not allow a return. If approved for return, a restocking will be inured and varies by manufacture. Shipping charges for the return are the responsibility of the customer and are non-refundable. Any product return must be in the original packaging with all its packing materials and must be in sellable condition. In the event you choose to return your order please contact us at 800-806-7997 to determine your return requirements.

Products can be returned via UPS ground, FedEx Ground or USPS. Products that have been installed are not returnable. A credit will be issued upon return after inspection of the product minus the restocking fee.



SHIPPING QUESTIONS

Shipping costs vary for each order. Shipping costs are determined by size and weight of the order and the distance between the two zip codes. We often will arrange to have a product shipped directly from the manufacturer which keeps overhead costs down so as to be able to pass on those savings on to you. If you need to have your order expedited, please call us to arrange a rushed order.

Will I have to pay Sales Tax?
Federal law requires us to charge sales tax to residents of Maryland.
What Payment Methods do we accept and is it safe to use my credit card?
We accept Visa and MasterCard and American Express for domestic purchases and have taken every precaution to make our transactions secure on the Internet. You do have the option, however, to phone in orders using your credit card directly to MidAtlantic Mailbox.

Due to currency fluctuations we can not offer Visa and MasterCard to international customers. Please call us at 1-301-620-7585 if you are an international customer to arrange payment.

What if we don’t have all items in stock?
If a product is out of stock, we will automatically back order it.


INSTALLATION QUESTIONS

Can I get MidAtlantic Mailbox to install my mailbox?
We provide installation services to Maryland, including the Eastern Shore, South Eastern Pennsylvania for York/Harrisburg and below, and Eastern West Virginia. Installation fees vary depending on the distance from Frederick Maryland.

 

Will I receive installation instructions included in my product so I can install myself?
Yes. Some units come with instructions directly from the manufacturer; for others we have created easy to follow instructions. If at any time you need help, you can always contact us as well.

Should I use concrete to install my mailbox?
Any cast aluminum mailbox should always be concreted. We recommend using approximately 35-45 lbs of concrete. It is not necessary to add water to the concrete as there is enough water in the soil to form the concrete ball.

For any of our wood posts it is not necessary to concrete them in. Once the soil is repacked around the post a “vacuum” will be created which should stabilize your unit.
